PONCE DE LEON, FL -- Throughout the year, Congressman Matt Gaetz will be visiting areas around the District for Open Gaetz Days (#OpenGaetz Days).

During these events, Congressman Gaetz will be visiting and meeting with local schools, businesses, organizations, agencies, churches and more. On these days, there will be time set aside for ‘mobile office hours' in which Congressman Gaetz' will meet with constituents in person to hear their concerns. We urge constituents to schedule an appointment ahead of the event by contacting our office.

The second installment of Open Gaetz Day will be in Westville and Ponce de Leon in Holmes County. The public and news media are invited to most of the events scheduled throughout the day.

The itinerary for Open Gaetz Day on April 12, 2017 is as follows.

7:00 am | First Responders Meet & Greet | United Methodist Church of Ponce de Leon Fellowship Hall | Community Welcome

9:00 am | Holmes City Council Meeting | Ponce de Leon Town hall | Council Members | Community Welcome

10:00 am | 4-H Build a Better World | Ponce de Leon State Park

11:30 am | Ponce de Leon High School Visit |Education Update | Closed due to school security

1:00 pm | Ponce de Leon Elementary | School Visit | Closed due to school security

2:00 pm | Mobile Office Hours | Ponce de Leon Town Hall | Open | Appointments Recommended

4:00 pm | Town Hall | United Methodist Church of Ponce de Leon | Open to public

6:00 pm | Youth and Church Visit | Leonia Baptist Church | Open to public
