Congressman Matt Gaetz Issues Statement After Voting ‘Present’ on Mueller Resolution
Washington, D.C. — Congressman Matt Gaetz (FL-01) issued the following statement after voting ‘present’ on H. Con. Res. 24, a resolution calling for the full release of the special report, which also offered unbridled praise to Robert Mueller’s team of anti-Trump operatives:
“I’ve said to millions of Americans on television that I support releasing the Mueller report. I didn’t need to embrace Nancy Pelosi’s foreword to it today. I take specific exception to the elements of the resolution noting praise for Mueller, without also noting the criticism of his very biased staffing decisions. It’s like he was fishing for talent in the Hillary Clinton fan club aquarium,” Rep. Gaetz said.
