MILTON, FL — Dozens of protesters showed up Thursday at an event hosted by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), a freshman congressman representing Florida’s first congressional district.
On “Pensacola Speaks” yesterday, Congressman Matt Gaetz talked about the protestors who came to his town hall meetings and why didn’t cancel the events.
Matt Gaetz will be making his first stop as congressman next week in Milton to hear thoughts and concerns from his constituents.
"It's the inaugural 'Open Gaetz'," he said in between flights Monday afternoon. "There's many more to come."
“Gaetz said he understands the concern for clean water, but believes that can be alleviated with alternative water sources for people in the impacted areas.”
