A local lawmaker said that he is very concerned about a military aircraft that flies over of the backyards of northwest Floridians.

On Monday, Congressman Matt Gaetz made a stop at Naval Air Station Pensacola to talk with Navy officials and the pilots who fly T-45 jets. It has been five days since the Navy grounded the aircraft. The decision came after pilots refused to get into the cockpit over concerns of the oxygen system.

“I am concerned that the T-45s aircraft and its oxygen systems present a risk to pilots,” Gaetz said at a media briefing.
