Congressman Gaetz to host #OpenGaetz Day in Milton & Pace Feb. 23

U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz (R-Fort Walton Beach) will hold a neighborhood day Feb. 23 in Milton and Pace.

Gaetz will visit the communities, meet with constituents and attend daylong events, starting with "Coffee with your Congressman" at the Kiwanis Clubs of Milton and Pace at 7 a.m. The event is open to club members and the media.

Gaetz will attend the Santa Rosa Board of County Commissioners meeting at 9 a.m., visit Avalon Middle School as "Civics Teacher for a day" at 10 a.m. and he'll host a legislative update at noon at Grover T's BBQ in Milton.

There will be neighborhood office hours for constituents at 4:30 p.m. at the Santa Rosa County Administration Complex at 6495 Caroline St. in Milton, the same location as the county commissioners' meeting.

The congressman's visit will wrap up with a town hall gathering at 7 p.m. at Oops Alley Bowling & Restaurant, 3721 U.S. 90 in Pace.
